Description

Kofta Curry Masala Recipe

Required Ingredients

Minced Meat                      3/4kg finely grounded to a past

Onion                                   300g/ 4 medium, grounded

Yogurt, plain                       ½-1 cups, whipped

Garlic paste                         1 tbsp

Coriander Fresh                 2 tbsp, chopped

Cooking oil                          1 ½ cup 175ml- 250g

AnJ Keema Mix                 1 pouch mix in ½ cup water

 

Cooking instruction

  1. In the minced meat, add half ground onions, half yogurt, fresh coriander and 2 tbsp AnJ Kofta Curry masala. Knead to make smooth dough. Make about 30 small round meat balls.
  2. Heat oil and fry the remaining onions past until golden. Add garlic, the reaming yogurt and AnJ Kofta Curry Masala. Stir-fry for few minute and then add 2-3 glasses of water. Boil for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add meat ball and reduce the heat. Cook until meat ball are tender, about 20-30 minutes. Do not stir with spoon.

 

Serving Suggestion.

Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with plain boiled rice or hot chappaties.

Tips for best results

If the meat balls break, add a whisked egg in the mince. To make softer Koftas, soak a slice of bread in water and mash it. Then lightly squeeze out the water and mix in the minced meat.
