Description
Chicken Achari comes from the hotter regions of Northern India. Indian curry with ingredients using pickling spices that pack a punch, very authentic in flavor and taste. It’s rich in flavor, gives a tangy spice kick which can lift up your mood instantly.
It can be served with Rice, Paratha or Chapati.
Required Ingredients
Chicken with Bones 1 kg
Garlic Paste 1-2 tbsp.
Ginger Paste 1-2 tbsp.
Green Chilies 6/8 medium slit lengthwise
Lemon Juice 2/3 tbsp.
Tomatoes 300g/ 4 medium, grind & sieve to make puree
Yogurt 300g/ 2 cups, whipped
Oil 1 cup
AnJ Chicken Achari 1 pouch
Cooking Instruction
- Mix 2 tablespoons of AnJ Chicken Achari Masala with lemon juice and fill the green chilies.
- In hot oil add Chicken, garlic, ginger, yogurt and remaining AnJ Chicken Achari Masala, stir-fry on high heat for 7-10 minutes.
- Add 1-2 cups of water. Cover and cook on low heat until Chicken is tender.
- Add tomato puree. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes on high heat and place green chilies over the Chicken. Cover and cook on low heat until oil separates from gravy.
If desired remove excessive oil before serving.
